About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete six to seven weeks of structured classroom training in accounting, credit analysis, corporate valuation, and financial modelling
- Conduct company and industry research
- Analyze historical financial performance and model future outcomes to assess credit risk
- Create client marketing materials using Excel and PowerPoint
- Assist in preparing credit underwriting presentations for Risk Committee approval
- Monitor client developments and prepare updates for leadership
- Contribute to client work within a coverage or product group
- Develop financial and credit expertise
- Support relationship management efforts
- Build relationships with clients and senior bankers
- Follow Wells Fargo risk and compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor, identify, escalate, and remediate risk and compliance issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ months of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation in December 2026 or May/June 2027
- Successful completion of the 2026 Corporate Banking Analyst Program
- Strong academic achievement
- Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
- Relevant internship experience
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Candidates must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Candidates must not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future
- Must successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire
- Must meet ongoing FINRA regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
- Must comply with applicable Wells Fargo risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures
