About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee daily operations of financial aid awarding, compliance, and student communications.
Ensure accurate administration of federal, state, and institutional funding.
Organize and execute financial aid programs and initiatives.
Counsel students and families regarding aid programs and financing options.
Serve on various Financial Aid, Enrollment Management, and campus-wide committees.
Monitor operations to ensure timely awarding of financial aid awards.
Manage student and parent requests for special circumstance reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.A. or B.S. degree and five years of higher education or other relevant experience.
Ability to adapt to changes in work environment.
Experience coordinating financial aid and scholarship programs (preferred).
Exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with diverse populations.
Organizational skills and ability to coordinate programs and projects autonomously.
Willingness to stay engaged with national trends in higher education.
Leadership experience in a customer service focused environment (preferred).
Experience with Ellucian Colleague or Banner (preferred).
