About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform customer service activities for agents and clients through incoming calls and emails
  • Answer coverage, policy change, quote, billing, claims, certificate, underwriting, and other customer inquiries
  • Conduct periodic account reviews and strengthen existing accounts with additional coverage
  • Resolve disputes between customers, the company, agencies, and other parties while communicating progress
  • Work with agencies on critical events and follow agency instructions within guidelines and procedures
  • Write generally simple bonds and handle renewals, cancellations, and non-renewals
  • Document work in the management system
  • Support the insurance team and respond to underwriting requests for customer information
  • Use company software, agency management systems, underwriting guidelines, forms, manuals, and other tools
  • Share knowledge of industry updates and stay informed about state-specific guidelines and requirements
  • Work with Account Managers to define and document customer requirements
  • Support implementation project plans, milestones, deliverables, and mitigation actions
  • Identify project risks and coordinate across internal teams to keep program deliverables on track

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years of experience in Account Management, Business, Sales, Distribution Management, or a related field
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience
