About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management and Control Strategy
- Ensure quality standards are consistently met through robust systems, proactive process control, and cross-functional leadership
- Serve as the sites Management Representative for ISO and other quality certifications (e.g., SQF)
- Lead efforts in continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s QMS
- Audit internal processes and documentation to ensure adherence to applicable standards
- Establish strategic quality goals and KPIs aligned with business objectives
- Lead advanced problem-solving efforts and drive a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline (master's degree or certifications a plus)
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive quality management experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics, packaging, or regulated industries preferred)
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 13485; SQF and/or HACCP training/certification highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and QMS tools.
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and root cause analysis methodologies.
