About the role

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, functional leads, and development teams to translate business requirements into practical SAP technical solutions.
  • Define and lead technical architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and governance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Analyze current SAP landscapes/integrations and design new target landscapes.
  • Manage technical efforts, team planning, and successful project delivery by overseeing the design and delivery of application extensions, integration, and automations.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and introduce innovative SAP technologies, tools, and methodologies to internal teams and clients.
  • Mentor and coach junior architects and technical consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SAP implementation experience as an architect or development lead, with at least 2 full end-to-end S/4HANA implementations.
  • Strong knowledge in at least one SAP S/4HANA line of business solution (finance, manufacturing, engineering, sales, service, sourcing and procurement, supply chain).
  • Exposure to brownfield and bluefield implementations using SAP Readiness Check and Custom Code Analysis.
  • Proficiency in at least one SAP methodology (clean core, integration solution advisory, application extension) and modern design patterns such as event-driven integrations and side-by-side extensibility.
  • Practical understanding of key SAP technologies: ABAP, ABAP Cloud, CDS, Fiori, OData, RAP (RESTful Application Programming), output management, BOPF, RFC, IDoc, BAPI, SOAP, OData, Events, etc.
  • Implementation knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with hands-on experience in at least two BTP services (e.g., HANA Cloud, Workzone, BTP ABAP Environment, Mobile Services, Integration Suite, Process Automation, Build Apps, Event Mesh, API Management, SAP AI Core).
  • Business fluency in English and German.
