About the role
- Develop and edit teaching materials (print and digital) for modern German lessons in elementary school
- Oversee German teaching series/coursebooks
- Lead editorial and author teams and collaborate closely with them
- Work with typesetters, illustrators and other internal and external service providers
Requirements
- Completed degree, preferably a teaching degree with a focus on German
- Ideally, some classroom teaching experience
- Extensive subject-specific and didactic-methodological knowledge
- Editorial experience producing print and digital materials in an educational publishing house
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Strong digital affinity
- Creativity, determination and organizational skills
