About the role
- Design models that forecast behaviors and intentions of surrounding vehicles, pedestrians, and other dynamic agents (Prediction)
- Explore algorithms for vehicle localization and environment representation using maps, onboard sensors, and learning-based methods (Mapping & Localization)
- Contribute to motion planning and decision-making modules and vehicle control algorithms for safe, efficient driving (Planning & Control)
- Build simulation platforms with realistic sensor modeling and 3D environment reconstruction to validate and accelerate AV development (Simulation Core)
- Collaborate with perception, planning, control, and simulation teams to integrate models and support end-to-end autonomous driving systems
- Provide downstream modules with high-precision positioning, geometric and semantic scene information to enable navigation and decision-making
Requirements
- MS/PhD degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Physics, Computer Vision, Graphics, Machine Learning, Automation or equivalent practical experience
- Expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
- Proficient in C++ and/or Python with knowledge of its latest features
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional team collaboration abilities
- Passion for innovation in the autonomous vehicle industry
- (Bonus) Published research at NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, IROS, or ICRA
- (Bonus) Proficient in machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- (Bonus) Experience in open-source competitions or challenges related to autonomous driving
