About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the NA Finance Director and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the business unit.
Have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the business unit.
Work closely with operational and commercial leaders to provide financial insights, improve profitability, and support sustainable growth.
Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the business units long-term strategy.
Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Site Director and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.
Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast by division (vs. budget).
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
Manage work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
Monitor all open legal issues involving the business unit/industry.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, or finance with C.P.A and/or M.B.A is required.
At least ten years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing facility with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning.
Cost accounting experience is highly recommended.
Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information.
This is a service-orientated position.
The successful candidate must genuinely enjoy working with people, have a pleasant disposition, and be willing to advance the goals of the organization by demonstrating competence in relevant subject areas and a willingness to be helpful.
