About the role

  • Implement and standardize complex projects
  • Initiate, plan, manage, document, control and close projects
  • Further develop and administer specialist systems such as the network information system (NIS)
  • Define and implement customer-oriented process and quality standards
  • Coordinate and provide technical support for key user roles for NIS/GIS systems
  • Develop, review and optimize interfaces
  • Contribute to the optimization of technical and commercial network processes
  • Evaluate digitalization approaches to optimize processes
  • Contribute to the long-term digitalization strategy of the WEMAG Group
  • Assess potential applications of new technologies in network planning and documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree (university or university of applied sciences) in (business) informatics/computer science
  • Knowledge of the structure of power distribution networks
  • Experience with network information and geographic information systems (NIS/GIS)
  • Knowledge of G!NIUS
  • Experience with NIS/GIS systems
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with tools for process modeling, data preparation and visualization — ideally Bizagi, Talend and Tableau
  • Basic understanding of data models and interfaces
  • Organizational, conceptual and communication skills
  • Result-oriented, independent working style.
