About the role
- Implementing and standardizing complex projects – initiating, planning, controlling, documenting, monitoring, and closing projects, including in an agile environment
- Further development and management of specialist systems such as the Network Information System (NIS), including quality assurance and user optimization for WEMAG Netz GmbH
- Defining and introducing customer-oriented process and quality specifications for the documentation of network assets and monitoring compliance
- Coordinating and providing technical support for key user roles for NIS/GIS systems
- Developing, testing, and optimizing the function and operation of interfaces in the environment of specialist systems
- Contributing to the optimization of technical and commercial network processes
- Evaluating digitization approaches for process optimization and coordinating potential implementation
- Contributing to the long-term digitization strategy of the WEMAG corporate group
- Assessing potential applications of new technologies in network planning and documentation
Requirements
- Completed degree from a university of applied sciences or university in (business) informatics / computer science
- Knowledge of the structure of electrical distribution networks
- Experience working with network information and geographic information systems (NIS/GIS), preferably knowledge of G!NIUS
- Experience with NIS/GIS systems
- Project management experience
- Experience with tools for process modeling, data preparation and visualization – ideally Bizagi, Talend and Tableau
- Basic understanding of data models and interfaces
- Organizational, conceptual and communication skills
- Result-oriented and independent working style
