About the role
- Serve as deputy to the senior foreman
- Temporarily and independently assign allocated staff to operational and scheduled tasks in the field of substations and provide technical supervision of delegated work
- Independently perform installation, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with general instructions as well as specific regulations and guidelines
- Plan, coordinate and carry out regular inspections and maintenance work on primary equipment, including documentation of completed work
- Plan, execute or authorize switching operations and safety measures in substations
- Detect, remedy and document faults and their causes within the area of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards and guidelines
- Responsible for technical documentation in the GIS and BIS systems of WEMAG Netz GmbH and for maintaining associated technical documents
- Coordinate and support investment construction and grid connection projects for the substations department across all voltage levels
- Monitor quality, functionality, operational and occupational safety
- Coordinate workflows on construction and assembly sites; participate in operational coordination of construction processes with a focus on optimal plant availability
- Define and implement measures to ensure work safety
- Commission, monitor and control services provided by contractors, including acceptance of partial deliveries/services
- Contribute to the creation of maintenance specifications, test procedures, checklists and test reports, etc.
- Participate in the on-call duty roster
Requirements
- Master craftsman (Meister) qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Extensive knowledge of the structure and operation of power supply networks
- Solid knowledge of electrical equipment and the technical interrelationships in substations
- Switching authorization up to 110 kV
- Confident user of standard IT and common software
- Driving license class C1E
- Medical fitness per G25/G41
