About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the operations of the East Gippsland Mental Health and Wellbeing Local across Bairnsdale and Orbost
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team across clinical, psychosocial, and lived experience disciplines
  • Balance operational leadership with service development, quality improvement, and future planning
  • Work with consortium partners and the local community to keep services accessible, responsive, and grounded in local needs
  • Shape delivery of mental health and wellbeing support across East Gippsland
  • Support a community-led service for people aged 26 years and over experiencing mental health challenges, including co-occurring substance use or addiction needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience in mental health, wellbeing, or a similar setting
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Psychology, or another mental health-related field
  • AHPRA registration where applicable
  • Ability to lead and support a diverse team across clinical, psychosocial, and lived experience practice areas
  • Strong skills in partnership development, data-informed decision making, and continuous improvement practices
  • Collaborative approach focused on safety, quality, and accountability
  • Satisfactory National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to undertake NDIS Workers Orientation module completion certificate
