About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and maintain the organization’s accounting principles, financial controls, auditing practices, and procedures
  • Manage the performance and effectiveness of the organization’s billing and revenue control function
  • Supervise and monitor the accounting department
  • Direct the formulation, monitoring and presentation of budgets
  • Provides leadership and oversight of the Billing Team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant claims processing and cash collections
  • Leads strategies to maintain accounts receivable performance and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) within established organizational targets
  • Ensures organizational compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements related to reimbursement and revenue cycle activities
  • Provides strategic oversight of revenue cycle systems and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting/finance functions
  • Revenue Cycle leadership and accounting/billing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, advanced Excel, E-mail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Teamwork and communication skills essential for dealing with agency team and outside contacts
