About the role
- Independently prepare revenue and cost analyses as well as contribution margin calculations
- Develop and enhance controlling tools as well as department-specific processes and structures
- Provide cost-accounting support for projects and prepare transparent profitability analyses and post-calculations
- Support the preparation of monthly reports, interim forecasts and corporate planning at both strategic and operational levels
- Advise management on all sales data relevant for decision-making and performance management
- Prepare target/actual comparisons and variance analyses, interpret results and derive optimization measures
- Produce ad hoc reports/analyses and support special tasks and projects
Requirements
- Degree in economics/business administration with a focus on controlling or a comparable qualification
- Several years of solid professional experience in sales/project controlling
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
- Assertiveness and the ability to quickly grasp complex issues
- High level of initiative with an independent and structured working style
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Practical experience with the ERP system Navision is desirable
