About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help define the product vision and strategy, and define and own roadmap initiatives for the Business Banking team
Lead planning, development, launch and experimentation with the goal of shipping best in class features that our clients love
Continue to follow features post-launch and design and implement improvements that will increase usage and adoption
Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape of business banking in Canada
Develop a deep understanding of all elements of business banking including payments, expense management, borrowing, cards, and others
Contribute to financial modeling and growth modeling to assess product performance and project future growth
Use all tools available to build client understanding and empathy
Help develop best-in-class systems and tools to improve client experience and product uptake
Support a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists
Partner with other engineering teams and departments across the company to build compliant, efficient, and industry-leading products and features
Help elevate the Product Management practice at Wealthsimple and create an inclusive and supportive team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

A multi-year track record of building and shipping products that customers love
Experience with small business and B2B products/services
A shipping mentality
Enough technical know-how to talk with engineers about architecture and technical considerations
A passion for financial inclusion and building products that increase access to financial freedom
Experience with AI tools and a strong POV on what AI tools are most effective for Product Managers
Bonus: Experience building, shipping, iterating and growing products from 0 to 1 over multiple years
