About the role
- Going from 0 to 1 - Build and productionize machine learning models.
- Design and execute product experiments to help improve Wealthsimple’s client experience.
- Work with cross-functional teams within Growth, Product, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Translate experimental results into products and solutionsSpearhead data modelling strategyEnsure models are well tested, documented and maintained.

Requirements
- Deep experience in building end-to-end productionized machine learning pipelines.
- Deep experience in complex experimental design (A/B tests, factorial design).
- Strong technical skills in coding (SQL & Python) and statistical methods.
- Comfortable with data modelling and software engineering best practices such as dbt, unit testing and version control.
- Extensive experience with machine learning feature engineering.
- Results-driven: keeping things as simple as possible to achieve the product goals and ship new products.
- Curiosity: willing to dive deep into product strategies and business context.
- Able to build and maintain multi-functional relationships with various teams across the business.
- Experience working in the risk management domain is a plus
