Assist with legal research on various aspects of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and federal and state tax laws (income, gift, estate, GST).
Review and analyze legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law across all U.S. jurisdictions.
Support the legal team in drafting and updating legal content, including internal legal memoranda, templates, and marketing materials.
Contribute to the legal accuracy and compliance of our estate planning software solutions.
Assist with special projects related to AI, product development, and legal compliance.
Participate in team meetings and discussions, offering insights and contributing to problem-solving.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited Juris Doctor (J.D.) program.
Demonstrated coursework or strong interest in estate planning, trusts and estates, and/or tax law.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in a legal setting or a technology company is a plus, but not required.
