About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop complex Shopify solutions: custom apps, public apps, integrations, APIs, GraphQL, and Liquid
Independently design technical architectures — you think from the customer perspective, not just the code
Act as Technical Project Lead (TPV) in client projects
Close collaboration with Marcel (CTO) as a sparring partner and mentor
Active and proficient use of AI tools in daily development (not a nice-to-have but the standard)
Continuously evolve our technical standards and internal processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 3 years of professional experience in Shopify development
Proven experience developing Shopify custom apps and/or public apps
Knowledge of Shopify custom & public apps (Node.js / React)
REST and GraphQL APIs and complex system integrations
Shopify Liquid and front-end development
Technical architecture mindset — you see the whole system, not just the code
Experienced with AI coding tools such as Cursor
Independent and solution-oriented — you bring answers, not problems
Structured, quality-conscious working style
Hungry for growth and open to feedback
