About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As an employee of WBS TRAINING, you represent your field with passion and foresight
In your role as a learning facilitator, the primary focus is on developing participants' competencies
In your lesson design you act both as a subject-matter instructor and as a supportive learning facilitator — Learning 4.0!
This includes subject-related teaching on-site at Dresden-Nord (20%) and remotely from the home office in the WBS LearnSpace 3D® (80%)
Preparing and designing lesson-related learning materials according to the curriculum
Conducting competency assessments to measure learning progress

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training, state-certified technician, or degree in Automation Technology
Knowledge of programming, troubleshooting and commissioning of automation systems
Specific experience programming Siemens PLCs with TIA Portal (use of technology and communication objects; visualization and machine safety)
Knowledge of network technology
Application of TIA knowledge (Profibus, Profinet, AS-i, OPC UA, etc.)
Knowledge of control engineering and measurement technology
Basic knowledge of the SIMIT simulation software is an advantage
AEVO certification or comparable pedagogical training is desirable
Methodical and didactic skill in delivering instructional content
Independent and structured working style with a high level of personal responsibility
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a team
