About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead workstreams and small engagements autonomously, managing priorities, risks, resources, and deliverables while ensuring high-quality output from the team.
  • Provide expert-driven recommendations, applying deep subject-matter knowledge, conducting strong qualitative analysis, and staying current on market and industry trends.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence, facilitate client meetings, present results effectively, and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise, giving constructive feedback, and fostering growth across Analysts and Consultants.
  • Contribute to Wavestone’s growth, proactively support business development, nurturing client relationships, spotting new opportunities, and participating in marketing, content creation, and internal initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or another analytical field. (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years’ experience in external client-facing technology transformation consulting.
  • Experience leading and supporting complex technology and transformation initiatives including strategy, systems implementation, operating model transformations, or digital modernization efforts.
  • Proven ability to lead workstreams or small engagements, managing priorities, risks, resources, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to work across business and technology stakeholders to assess needs, define solutions and support the delivery of large-scale transformation programs in a consulting or enterprise environment.
  • Experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving collaborative decision-making, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Experience collaborating across major business functions (Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, etc) and working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage senior leadership and create compelling MS Office deliverables—especially PowerPoint.
  • Proven contribution to business development, including proposal shaping, identifying opportunities, or securing extensions.
  • Ability to travel as required.
