About the role

  • We are expanding our Insurance International team and are seeking a Managing Consultant — Reinsurance (all genders) in Germany, Spain, Austria, Italy, Romania, Poland, or Switzerland, at the location of your choice.
  • You will work on exciting projects focused on digital transformation and the modernization of reinsurance business models, processes, and platforms.
  • You are passionate about how the reinsurance industry will evolve in the coming years and the challenges this evolution will bring.
  • You enjoy partnering with reinsurance clients to define a future vision and help them prepare for it.
  • You will actively advise and support our reinsurance clients on the digital transformation of their assumed or retrocession reinsurance business (P&C and L&H).
  • You will support the full lifecycle of system modernization or implementation of state-of-the-art reinsurance platforms, including but not limited to business analysis, system selection, system integration, process engineering, and the design of target operating models.
  • As an experienced professional, you will design end-to-end solutions across areas such as Pricing, Data Strategy, Data Management, Underwriting, Claims Management, Technical Accounting, and Finance.
  • You will apply AI-driven insights and tools to improve process efficiency, enhance analytics, and support the modernization of reinsurance operations.
  • You will take on leadership responsibility for junior colleagues within the team.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in management consulting or within an insurance company, with a focus on insurance, reinsurance, or specialty/commercial lines.
  • Interest in AI technologies and their application to improve reinsurance processes and enable data-driven transformation.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree completed successfully.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
