About the role
- You lead nationwide projects across Germany to digitally transform claims management for our insurance clients.
- You develop innovative consulting services and digital claims solutions at the intersection of customer experience, processes and technology.
- You design strategic decision papers for repositioning the claims function in the digital age.
- You actively position and market the “Digital Claims” area in the market and expand it together with the team.
- You use your well-established industry network to win new clients and maintain existing relationships.
- You contribute your expertise, continue to develop professionally and actively shape Wavestone’s success.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a consultant in a management consultancy, an insurance company, an InsurTech or a start-up with an insurance focus.
- Deep understanding of insurance operations, especially claims management: claims handling, claims systems and digitization of claims processes.
- Passion for rethinking the "moment of truth" for the insurance industry and enthusiasm for trends such as platform economy, data ocean, channel management and agility.
- Experience as a project or program manager and in presales.
- Analytical and methodological skills, IREB or ISTQB certification desirable.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region.
- Successfully completed university degree.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
