About the role
- You will work with our team to build a high-performance migration factory and help to firmly establish and further expand this capability.
- You will drive innovation in the migration space: leveraging AI-supported approaches, working with evolving templates and frameworks, and keeping an eye on new methods, SAP standards and third-party solutions.
- You will lead SAP S/4HANA migration projects or subprojects — including planning, control, reporting and alignment with clients.
- You will approach migration not only as technical data transfer but holistically across processes, technologies and business goals — advising clients on transformation strategies, process harmonization and target architectures.
- You will take responsibility for delivering high-quality results in the SAP migration context and ensure that migration initiatives are implemented efficiently, systematically and purposefully.
- You will coordinate collaboration between business units, technical teams and external partners and manage complex dependencies across the entire transformation program.
- You will contribute to SAP projects beyond the migration focus, for example with module expertise, testing, training, architecture or classic project support.
- You will actively help grow and further develop our SAP migration team and provide technical support and coaching to team members.
Requirements
- University degree (completed).
- Proven experience managing projects or subprojects for SAP migration initiatives (e.g., S/4HANA, Brownfield/Greenfield, Selective Data Transition).
- Deep knowledge of SAP data structures, business processes and migration tools — and the ability to view migration as an integral part of an overall transformation.
- Confident handling of project management methods (agile & classical), ideally with knowledge of SAP Activate.
- Ability to explain complex SAP migration processes and transformation paths clearly and to manage them with clients.
- Very good German and English skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience in other SAP areas such as module consulting, testing, training or architecture — or the motivation to develop into these areas over time.
