About the role

  • In this role you will actively shape the security architecture of modern SAP landscapes — from traditional on-premise systems to hybrid and cloud-based platforms such as SAP BTP, S/4HANA Cloud, and SuccessFactors.
  • You will support our clients in holistically securing their SAP systems and developing future-proof security strategies.
  • You will design and evaluate SAP security architectures for hybrid system landscapes with a focus on cloud platforms, integrations (APIs), network, and infrastructure components.
  • You will analyze and implement security measures for SAP APIs, SAP Gateway, OData services, and Cloud Connector — taking into account current threat scenarios and industry best practices.
  • You will perform threat modeling and risk analysis, identify vulnerabilities in SAP systems, and develop appropriate countermeasures.
  • You will accompany SAP projects from the architecture phase through to go-live, ensuring security requirements are considered and implemented early on.
  • You will configure security features for components such as SAP Basis and SAP Cloud Identity Services (IPS/IAS) and support integration into existing IT security landscapes.
  • You will advise clients on regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2), conduct security workshops, and assist with audits and compliance reviews.
  • You will monitor current developments in SAP security, contribute new ideas to our service portfolio, and help develop innovative security solutions.
  • You will actively support sales in positioning SAP security solutions, prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and assist with tenders (RFI/RFP).

Requirements

  • You have professional experience in SAP Security — ideally with a focus on SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP Digital Identity, SAP Threat Modeling, SAP Code Security, SAP Cloud & BTP Security, or SAP Vulnerability Management.
  • You possess solid knowledge in securing SAP systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Gateway, Fiori Launchpad) and in configuring authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • You have experience with the SAP Cloud Integration Suite (CPI) and SAP Cloud Identity Services (IPS/IAS).
  • You have hands-on experience conducting threat modeling, risk analyses, and developing technical SAP infrastructure security concepts.
  • You are familiar with API security, OData services, ICF, TLS/SSL, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and network architectures in the SAP context.
  • Ideally, you have experience with middleware technologies such as SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO) and modern integration solutions like MuleSoft, Talend, or Apache Camel.
  • Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP Administration or comparable credentials in SAP Security, cloud platforms, or middleware are an advantage and underline your professional qualifications.
  • You have a good market overview and knowledge of relevant SAP security tools (e.g. Security Bridge, XSP, Onapsis, or similar third-party tools).
