About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end planning, procurement, and merchandising of Wattbike’s spare parts and accessories portfolio
  • Ensure the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time and right price
  • Maximise availability, minimise excess stock, and drive the commercial performance of the spares and accessories category
  • Source, negotiate, and purchase spares and accessories from approved suppliers
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data
  • Own stock levels across all spares and accessories SKUs
  • Work closely with Customer Service to understand demand driven by repairs and warranty claims
  • Produce regular reports covering category P&L performance, stock availability, and supplier performance
  • Maintain accurate product, supplier, and inventory data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience owning or contributing to a category P&L including revenue, gross margin, and cost management
  • Proven background in category management, buying, or procurement within a product-led, e-commerce, or manufacturing business
  • Strong background in demand forecasting and inventory planning
  • Evidence of identifying and executing growth opportunities through range development, pricing, promotional activity, or new revenue streams
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and monitoring performance against agreed KPIs
  • Proficient in ERP and inventory management systems
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability for analysis and forecasting
  • Background in fitness equipment, consumer electronics, or a comparable product category is desirable
  • A degree in Business, or equivalent experience
  • CIPS qualification or working towards it is advantageous
