About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with the assigned Executive Sales Consultant to execute territory sales strategies and achieve growth objectives.
  • Generate new business through broker recruitment, outbound prospecting, sales campaigns, referrals, and lead development activities.
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries, qualify opportunities, and provide product and sales support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with active, prospective, and inactive brokers to increase sales across all product lines.
  • Conduct broker onboarding, product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions highlighting Warner Pacific tools, services, carrier solutions, and market opportunities.
  • Schedule appointments and support territory activities to maximize field sales effectiveness.
  • Assist brokers with marketing plans, lead-generation efforts, quoting, enrollment support, and sales strategy development.
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists to identify growth opportunities and increase awareness of specialty product offerings, including Medicare and ancillary products.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions, carrier portfolios, plan benefits, regulatory requirements, and the Affordable Care Act.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for brokers, peers, and internal teams on products, carrier updates, industry trends, compliance requirements, and sales best practices.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to team members by sharing knowledge, coaching best practices, and contributing to skill development.
  • Lead training initiatives and educational sessions to improve broker engagement, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to leadership regarding market opportunities, competitive intelligence, broker feedback, and emerging trends.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Product Specialists, Carrier Partners, and Account Management teams.
  • Demonstrate leadership by influencing positive outcomes, driving accountability, and fostering a high-performance culture without direct supervisory responsibility.
  • Accurately maintain CRM records, including sales activities, broker interactions, pipeline management, opportunities, and follow-up activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of health insurance, employee benefits, or related sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving territory growth.
  • Active Arizona Life and Health Insurance License.
  • Be a resident of Arizona.
  • Advanced knowledge of group medical, ancillary, and specialty insurance products.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and relationship-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and mentor others without direct authority.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and virtual presentation tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
