About the role
- After completing site securing, you take over projects and develop them in a structured way from Ready-to-Build (RTB) through to the final investment decision (FID)
- In close collaboration with internal specialist departments as well as external experts and partners, you manage and coordinate permitting and planning processes
- You are responsible for the project’s economic and scheduling foundations, including preparing, maintaining and validating financial feasibility calculations, schedules and risk assessments
- By ensuring a robust project maturity level (RTB), you create the basis for a structured tender preparation
- In coordination with Construction Management, you prepare trade contractor bids, structure and evaluate them from both economic and technical perspectives
- Preparing decision-ready documentation for management and the structured handover of projects to Construction Management are also part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy or Electrical Engineering, Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture forms your technical foundation
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role; ideally you also have practical experience in energy infrastructure / BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
- You have a solid understanding of legal, technical and economic interrelations
- Willingness to undertake occasional, project-dependent business trips within Germany and a valid driving licence (Class B)
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills are a plus.
