About the role
- Ensure the effectiveness of the Product Compliance Management System (PCMS) across all divisions and departments of Volkswagen Brazil and its entities in the SAM region (South America)
- Ensure the interface of the PCMS with other compliance management systems (including CMS, ECMS)
- Manage product compliance-related risks together with the technical areas, providing support
- Manage and promote product compliance training for core technical areas
- Promote communications on product compliance focused on adherence and consolidation of a Product Compliance culture
- Provide direct support to technical areas through consulting and monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Law, or Business Administration
- Advanced English (interaction with Headquarters)
- Strong knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory affairs in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of internal processes and internal/external standards and regulations that impact vehicle engineering/technical aspects
- Proficiency in simplifying complex problems and information
- Ability to think creatively, manage complexity, and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with very diverse groups, including individuals at all levels, and secure their cooperation
- Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization and in situations requiring instruction, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution, consulting, and advising
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently, meet deadlines, and focus on results
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
