About the role
- Drive the digitalization of VR PLUS
- Ensure a functioning IT infrastructure
- Install and configure software, hardware and networks
- Administer network servers and user accounts, and set up workstations
- Monitor and maintain systems
- Support employees with IT-related questions and provide training
- Maintain technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science or a related field
- Relevant vocational IT training
- Relevant professional experience in system or network administration or a similar role
- Additional certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP or MCSA)
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Knowledge of databases, networking and patch management
- Solid knowledge in system security and data backup/recovery
- Proficient expertise with VMware, Citrix and Veeam
- Ability to write scripts in Python, Perl or other languages
- Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and a careful, precise working style
