Backend Engineer

• Own and build all third-party POS integrations (Oracle, NCR, ParTech, etc.).
• Develop API bridges, webhooks, and data synchronization layers between our AI and restaurant systems.
• Leverage AI agents to 10x your development speed, but remain in full control - debugging, optimizing, and ensuring reliability.
• Deep debugging & optimization you don’t just trial-and-error; you understand, diagnose, and solve complex issues at the root level.
• Deploy, scale, and maintain services on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Kubernetes, Firestore/NoSQL, Cloud SQL) and AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3).
• Write high-quality, deeply tested code with pytest, unit tests, integration tests, and mocking frameworks.
• Use Postman to design, test, and validate API interactions.
• Ship fast and iteratively – we do weekly demos, deploy frequently, and move at startup speed.
