Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, handle and provide lasting solutions for technical customer requests
Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents in production
Install, configure and deploy third-party software
Support and optimize load‑balancing solutions, for example HAProxy or Application Request Routing (ARR)
Monitor the system and application landscape using monitoring, logging and visualization tools
Continuously optimize stability, performance and availability
Support the operation of distributed web applications
Participate in technical reviews, root‑cause analyses and improvement measures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience administering Windows Server environments
Strong technical understanding of operating complex application landscapes
Experience administering Microsoft Windows Servers
Understanding of distributed web applications and their operational requirements
Experience with load balancing, for example HAProxy or ARR
Experience with monitoring, logging and visualization, for example Checkmk, Graylog, Kibana or Grafana
Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, in particular: Internet Information Services (IIS) 10.x, Microsoft Failover Cluster Services, Microsoft SQL Server 2016–2019
Ability to understand and independently create T‑SQL queries
Experience in technical troubleshooting of server and application issues
Knowledge of software deployment, monitoring and system optimization
Development skills, particularly in .NET, C# or C++, are a plus
