About the role

  • Serve as a customer-facing battery expert, working cross-functionally across the Voltaiq team
  • Decipher and articulate the requirements of the customer's battery engineers, customizing the Voltaiq product
  • Resolve complex technical challenges while shaping the company's roadmap
  • Provide in-depth training, onboarding, and technical support to customers’ battery teams
  • Attend scheduled calls and on-site meetings to support and troubleshoot
  • Generate conference content, thought-leadership content, and present at industry events
  • Own technical projects related to organization-wide high impact goals

Requirements

  • PhD in STEM field with battery specific research or STEM B.S. with 3+ years experience in the field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in external customer-facing environments and to audiences of varying technical backgrounds
  • Superior troubleshooting capability
  • Battery testing/engineering industry knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple incoming requests and drive initiatives to their successful completion
  • Desire and ability to thrive in a loosely structured, high-demand startup environment
  • Python coding experience and desire to work with software engineering teams
  • Native speaker ability or high business fluency in one of the following languages: German, French, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese is a plus.
