About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and optimize the end-to-end vehicle supply chain process
  • Lead strategic planning, supplier and partner management, and operational execution across vehicle ordering, importation, port operations, PDI, logistics, titling, registration, and leasing readiness
  • Define and document vehicle supply processes and develop operational workflows, SOPs, and tracking systems
  • Identify resource, infrastructure, and process requirements for scalable vehicle supply operations
  • Align supply chain processes with regulatory requirements, internal business goals, and safety standards
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard port operators, customs brokers, PDI vendors, and logistics providers
  • Develop partner onboarding frameworks and service level agreements
  • Serve as primary operational liaison with supply chain vendors
  • Provide operational input to commercial teams for customer proposals and large fleet deals
  • Manage vehicle ordering schedules across partners and internal teams
  • Oversee importation activities and compliance with U.S. customs regulations
  • Lead port operations, PDI processes, and inland logistics
  • Manage titling and registration workflows through customer handoff
  • Coordinate with leasing/sales and customer success teams on commercial delivery commitments
  • Support customer onboarding documentation and contract alignment
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for supply chain performance and delivery SLAs
  • Identify risks, bottlenecks, and delays and drive resolution
  • Continuously improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a strategic role within automotive supply chain management, automotive sales operations, fleet management, vehicle logistics, or strategy/consulting supporting a vehicle importer
  • Required Bachelor's degree
  • Strong business acumen and structured problem-solving skills for ambiguous strategic questions
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex workstreams
  • Ability to use data to generate business insights and support executive decision-making
  • Ability to design operational process flows that reduce risk and optimize outcomes
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Strong knowledge of at least two of vehicle importation, customs, port operations, logistics, titling, or registration processes
  • Experience managing external vendors, service providers, and third-party strategic partners
  • Experience with commercial contracts, SLAs, and SOWs
  • Familiarity with vendor RFPs/RFQs and industry procurement practices
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budget management
  • Ability to connect supply chain execution with delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, and revenue realization
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements for vehicle supply, importation, and customer delivery
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Up to 20% domestic and international travel required
