About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead integration and validation of connectivity across telecom, automotive ECUs, IoT devices, and backend/cloud systems
- Validate technologies including 5G (SA/NSA), LTE, Wi-Fi, eSIM, IMS, and NTN
- Ensure seamless system-of-systems communication (device ↔ modem/ecu ↔ vehicle ↔ cloud)
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, protocol, regression, and black-box testing
- Conduct stability, MTBF, and performance testing
- Execute drive tests to validate real-world scenarios (handover, weak/no signal, roaming)
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Robot Framework
- Perform ECU diagnostics and flashing using tools like ODIS; validate CAN/UDS communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document test results, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10+ years in connectivity, telecom, automotive, or embedded systems
- B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science (or related education)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong system-level thinking (multi-domain integration)
- Ability to work in cross-functional agile teams
- Stakeholder and supplier coordination skills
- 5G SA/NSA, LTE, mmWave, IMS, Wi-Fi, NTN
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv6, VLAN, carrier aggregation
- Experience with MQTT, SOME/IP, and networking stacks
- CAN, UDS, LIN, Automotive Ethernet
- Vehicle E/E architecture and ECU communication
- Experience with vehicle integration and diagnostics (ODIS)
- End-to-end vehicle-to-cloud connectivity validation
- Backend/service interaction validation
- Experience working with distributed systems and APIs
