About the role

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture frameworks, including data models, data integration, and data management practices.
  • Design and implement data storage solutions (e.g., databases, data warehouses, data lakes) that align with business requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are met across all data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and integrate new data technologies and tools, ensuring they align with the overall data strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership in data architecture, guiding the development and implementation of data solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Data Engineering or related fields (8+ years preferred for senior-level roles).
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent proven experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and query optimization.
  • Experience with DBT.
  • Solid understanding of Clean Code principles, CI/CD best practices, and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with AWS CDK, Infrastructure-as-Code, and system integration methods (APIs, FTP).
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and database design and operations.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native development on AWS (Azure or GCP also considered).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English.
