About the role

  • Develop cloud and microservice business solutions across different platforms that combine user needs with business requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Plan and design development and architecture, perform architectural reviews, and support development and operations.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain automotive backend microservices using Java, JavaScript or Python, powered by AWS.
  • Apply DevOps principles to create, test and deploy backend solutions and internal tools using modern cloud infrastructure such as AWS, within an automotive context.
  • Contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with your team and other teams on all aspects of backend and tool development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer or in a related role
  • Experience in backend development with Java and other technologies such as Node.js, focusing on RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture and integration (Kafka), and testing (JUnit, Mockito, ElasticMQ or similar)
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of cloud environments
  • Knowledge of database design
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK
  • Experience with microservices
