About the role
- Develop and implement concepts for the systematic selection of complex traffic scenarios based on adverse conditions present in existing data
- Research and analyze current literature on the selection and curation of data from a data pool
- Experiment with data-driven deep learning methods for scenario selection
- Evaluate the quality of the selected data according to self-developed or predefined criteria
- Document and present the results
Requirements
- Master's students in Computer Science, Robotics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Very good to good academic performance
- Strong methodological and conceptual skills; familiarity with scientific methods
- Good knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, preferably Python, and of deep learning methods
- Extensive experience with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch in research projects
- German and English: B2 level
