Product Engineer – Test, Acoustic and NVH Testing

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the company’s technical reference for NVH topics, supporting decision-making at vehicle, platform, and regulatory levels;
- Define and lead NVH test activities for cabin and vehicle systems, including airborne noise, structure-borne noise, vibration testing, and cabin acoustic comfort assessments;
- Plan, execute, and analyze Pass-by Noise homologation tests, ensuring compliance with international regulations (ISO 362, R51 and related standards);
- Perform signal processing and advanced NVH analyses (FFT, order analysis, filtering, sound pressure mapping);
- Investigate complex NVH problems, identify underlying root causes, and define short- and long-term engineering solutions and countermeasures;
- Prepare test reports, documentation, and technical evidence for regulatory submissions and homologation dossiers;
- Collaborate with global and multidisciplinary teams, including body engineering, powertrain, chassis, CAE, and external test laboratories;
- Ensure compliance with corporate NVH targets and benchmarking with competitors;
- Define technical approaches and provide guidance to NVH teams through mentoring and technical leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Mechatronics, Acoustics, or related fields);
- Master’s degree in Engineering, with a research focus aligned with Acoustics, NVH, or related disciplines;
- Experience in NVH engineering with recognized expertise in NVH instrumentation, acoustic measurements, vibration analysis, source identification, vehicle sound performance verification, and Pass-by Noise homologation standards such as the ISO 362 series and local regulatory requirements (CONAMA, EU regulations);
- Experience with vibroacoustic data acquisition systems, such as Brüel & Kjær, Siemens LMS SCADAS or equivalent;
- Driver’s license: Category D or E.
- **Differentials**
- Experience with pass-by noise test track certification in accordance with ISO 10844 requirements;
- Experience with cabin acoustic treatments (insulators, damping materials, absorbers);
- Skilled in chassis dynamometer NVH testing and operating sound & vibration equipment;
- English – Advanced / fluent (technical)
