About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and analyze cost impacts on the annual budget, bimonthly projection revisions, and business planning, both overall and broken down by commodity.
  • Analyze retroactive price adjustments and validate closed orders related to those payments.
  • Validate reversals of improper debits identified by Accounts Payable.
  • Prepare the Annual Purchasing Volume and produce monthly updates.
  • Update impact analyses of direct material price adjustments and their approvals.
  • Assist in preparing the area cost center budget and monitor postings monthly.
  • Issue standing purchase orders for services used by the area and process their payments.
  • Participate in TRATON meetings.
  • Interact to harmonize processes with the group’s brands in the appropriate forums.
  • Send to the Quality or Logistics team the 5% turnover (Purchasing Volume) of the requested suppliers.
  • Inform Profit of the RECOF representation within the Purchasing Volume.
  • Prepare Net Economics and Business Split monthly during the closing period.
  • Prepare monthly material cost reports and distribute them to TRATON.
  • Prepare all reports with commodity breakdowns and report internally and to TRATON.
  • Ensure that prices recorded by Purchasing in SAP comply with approvals; perform the monthly Four Eyes Principle check.
  • Send technical changes and their approval documents to Engineering monthly during the closing period.
  • Monitor changes to payment terms for open orders within the official monthly purchasing volume.
  • Compile annual invoicing of parts in kilograms for the carbon emissions report.
  • Ensure transparency of financial information for all internal areas and audits.
  • Monitor fleet vehicle toll expenses for accounting reclassification.
  • Report variances and suggest adjustments to maintain financial control.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering
  • Postgraduate degree in Controllership and Finance or Business Management
  • Advanced English
  • Microsoft Office
  • Power BI
