About the role

  • Strategically further develop the engineering and product data system landscape (CAD, PDM/PLM, ERP, CPQ) and design an end-to-end architecture to support technical product development and change processes
  • Conceptualize and provide system support for the integration, use and further processing of 3D data such as CAD models, visualizations and derivatives across the entire product lifecycle
  • Identify digitization and automation potentials in the configuration and order processing workflow and translate them into robust technical concepts
  • Design, implement and sustainably stabilize data flows between different engineering applications
  • Act as the central contact person for external service providers to coordinate and manage bug fixes and new features
  • Create technical concepts and professionally supervise, test and approve external developments

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, (Business) Informatics or a comparable technical qualification
  • Experience working with 3D data and CAD models, and integrating them into PDM and downstream systems
  • Interest in digitization, automation and the continuous improvement of digital engineering processes
  • Solid experience with ERP and PDM systems, ideally proALPHA and Gain
  • Experience with interfaces, data structures and technical integrations
  • Fluent German; ideally good command of English
