About the role
- Assist users with everyday IT questions remotely and on-site
- Receive and handle support requests via phone, e‑mail and ticketing system
- Analyse, classify and resolve incidents at the first‑level support
- Handle support cases independently or in close cooperation with the IT team at the main site
- Document all support cases thoroughly in the ticketing system
- Help users with questions about standard software, hardware and common workplace devices (e.g., printers, networks, workstation PCs)
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal IT support processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a Technical Assistant for Computer Science, IT Systems Management, IT Business Administration or a comparable qualification — career changers with strong IT skills are welcome
- Initial experience in IT support, user helpdesk, service desk or IT customer support
- Confident user of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite
- Basic hardware knowledge (PCs, notebooks, printers) and general understanding of IT infrastructures
- Strong service and customer orientation, good communication skills and enjoyment in working with end users
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Structured, solution‑oriented working style and willingness to learn new topics
