About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Driving improvements in security engineering through automation, tooling optimisation, scripting, Zero Trust adoption, and implementation of modern security practices
Implementing security solutions across cloud and on-prem environments including firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, vulnerability management etc.
Working closely with global IT, Cloud, and Security Operations teams to ensure security, compliance, and resilience of systems
Designing, deploying, and maintaining security controls in line with recognised standards and compliance requirements like GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS
Helping deliver secure-by-design infrastructure and services across all environments
Providing technical guidance and security best practice recommendations to teams within the business
Evaluating emerging threats, attack techniques, and security technologies for continuous improvement
Managing and supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services including certificate lifecycle management, encryption, key management, secure authentication controls
Strengthening security posture by assessing and improving controls, responding to incidents, and managing ongoing security optimisation programmes
Bringing modern thinking to technology usage to protect the company and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in information security
Incident management skills
Securing cloud and on‑prem environments
Confidence with modern tools like SIEM, XDR, IAM
Practical knowledge across networking, Linux/Windows environments, and security architecture
Curiosity, sound judgement, and collaboration skills across global teams
Proven engineering experience and securing AWS environments using services like IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, WAF, KMS is required
