About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and prepare guitar lessons according to individual pupils' needs and examination syllabuses, including Trinity College of London Rock & Pop and Rockschool
Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques
Assess students' abilities and provide feedback to parents to support steady progress
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of examination requirements
Manage the personal lesson schedule daily and coordinate with the academy administrator to keep class and student information accurate and payments up to date
Forward feedback and complaints to the Music Academy Director, Store Branch Manager, and Academy Administrator for resolution
Provide professional and reliable services as the face of Swee Lee Music Academy

Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to go the extra mile
Ability to motivate others and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for teamwork and working with parents
Patient, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize workload
Punctuality is required
Ability to use Google Drive applications
Relevant music qualifications and grades are helpful but not essential
Teaching experience is beneficial
