Support Vista’s investment teams in conducting GTM diligence, including assessing GTM strategy, talent, operating models, risks, and opportunities at potential targets
Analyze and benchmark GTM functions against Vista best practices and market standards
Develop insights and recommendations on GTM maturity, efficiency, and improvement opportunities
Partner with portfolio company executives to implement Vista’s GTM best practices and execute on value creation plans
Manage workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
Contribute to continuous improvement of Vista’s GTM diligence and value creation methodologies
Build credibility and trust with executives as a representative of Vista’s Value Creation Team
Leverage AI tools (e.g., agents) to automate diligence processes
Evaluate GTM opportunities and risks for new prospective investments
Develop value creation plans for new portfolio companies
Implement value creation initiatives across sales, marketing, and customer success
Requirements
3–5 years of professional experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or GTM operating roles (B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred)
Exposure to both consulting and operating environments is ideal
Experience with commercial due diligence a plus (but not required)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with experience structuring complex problems and developing actionable insights
Solid project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Clear, confident communication skills and ability to engage with senior executives
Business acumen and familiarity with B2B SaaS GTM models (sales, marketing, customer success)
High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity
