About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for planning, steering and successful delivery of complex SAP projects and transformation programs
Leading interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
Accountability for project objectives regarding quality, budget, resources and timelines
Managing SAP implementations, rollouts, migrations and S/4HANA transformation projects
Creating and monitoring project plans, milestones and risk management measures
Advising management and business units on strategic and organizational issues within the SAP environment
Ensuring efficient communication between business units, IT, service providers and management
Identifying and implementing optimization and digitization opportunities across business processes
Managing change management and organizational development activities within SAP projects
Responsible for escalation management and sustainable problem-solving for complex challenges
Supporting the selection, management and evaluation of external service providers and implementation partners
Ensuring compliance with governance, regulatory and quality standards
Conducting project reviews, management reporting and status presentations at management and board level
Promoting agile and traditional project management methods to continuously improve the project organization
Actively contributing to the company’s SAP and digitalization strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience leading complex SAP projects, ideally in an international environment
Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA as well as relevant SAP modules and business processes
Experience planning and executing SAP transformations, rollouts, migrations or digitization projects
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) is a plus
Knowledge of agile project management methods (Scrum, SAFe, agile frameworks) desirable
Experience in stakeholder, change and risk management
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Additional foreign language skills are an advantage
