About the role

  • Lead design sessions to define the Foundation Data Model (FDM) and configure business processes, account posting rules, and security assignments
  • Oversee the extraction, cleansing, and mapping of legacy financial data into Workday, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
  • Develop comprehensive test scripts and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate financial controls and reporting accuracy
  • Design advanced financial reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Composite Reports
  • Provide expert troubleshooting for system issues during the initial stabilization period

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials and at least one full lifecycle implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, FDM architecture, and Workday modules such as Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P)
