About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You build Shopify stores for us in the frontend, following our wireframe and theme toolkit precisely.
Work to a standard: build based on a fixed wireframe and theme toolkit, without reinventing each project.
Clean placeholder logic: do not hard-code anything; use editable Shopify fields for content and work with placeholders until final approval.
Shipping and checkout logic: correctly configure the 6-bottle rule, free-shipping thresholds, and the invoice payment option.
Prepare handover: document open items and placeholder lists clearly for PM, Content, and IT.

Requirements

What you’ll need

20+ live Shopify stores built, ideally in the wine, food, or lifestyle sectors.
Solid understanding of Liquid and routine experience creating well-configured sections and blocks.
You work with Git and GitHub as standard; you're familiar with branches, commits, and pull requests and keep your theme code properly versioned.
You understand trust signals, social proof, and the customer journey from a new-customer perspective.
You verify your work on real devices.
You work within given constraints, meet deadlines, and consistently build toward defined done criteria.
Scope awareness: you identify when requirements fall outside the fixed-price scope.
AI affinity: you are comfortable working with Claude.
