About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze complex strategic civil cases with a focus on the electricity sector;
Draft procedural pleadings and technical legal opinions with emphasis on civil and administrative law;
Analyze case law and applicable regulations, continuously updating legal strategies;
Prepare detailed analytical reports to support clients' strategic decisions;
Maintain and update legal management systems;
Provide client service and support;
Attend hearings;
Interact with local and higher courts (Supreme Federal Court - STF and Superior Court of Justice - STJ), delivering oral arguments, monitoring appeals, and drafting defenses and strategic challenges;
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective legal solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB);
Prior experience in strategic civil litigation, with a focus on the electricity sector;
Preferably experienced in real estate litigation, particularly land regularization matters;
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
Familiarity with legal case management systems;
Availability to travel.
