About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the creation and execution of test cases aligned with system requirements;
- Execute functional and manual tests on web/mobile applications;
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automation scripts (e.g., Selenium, Cypress);
- Explore the use of AI tools and techniques to support test creation and optimization;
- Document, report, and track defects;
- Collaborate with the development team throughout all stages of the product lifecycle;
- Participate in continuous improvement of QA and automation processes, suggesting improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in areas such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.
- Basic Knowledge:
- - Software testing concepts (manual and functional testing);
- - Basic understanding of test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria;
- - Familiarity with web applications (browsers, forms, simple APIs);
- - Introductory knowledge of test automation.
- Desired Knowledge:
- - Practical experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright);
- - Basic programming logic;
- - Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
- - Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Differentials:
- - Experience or knowledge in performance/load testing;
- - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps);
- - QA or test automation certifications.
