About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and enhance the supply chain function across multiple Viant locations
  • Oversee demand and capacity planning, inventory and supply planning, and new product introductions
  • Establish and optimize ERP and advanced planning system functionality for supply chain and manufacturing functions
  • Act as subject matter expert for ERP functionality related to Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • Establish optimal inventory levels and standards of operation for accurate inventory records
  • Assist plants with inventory plans and projects to achieve days-on-hand targets
  • Establish and oversee master scheduling processes at individual sites and globally
  • Ensure production expectations meet long-term supply plans and achieve the 95% on-time delivery goal
  • Develop methodology for systematic management of work orders and shop floor schedules
  • Develop and maintain capacity models for production and supply chain at each manufacturing site
  • Identify capacity constraints and mitigate them to optimize throughput
  • Lead continuous improvement of the SIOP process with executives, site management, and Commercial
  • Collaborate with Commercial to establish demand plans
  • Establish and maintain long-term supply plans with individual sites using systematic planning tools
  • Develop standard work and daily management systems linking SIOP plans to site production execution and financial results
  • Ensure master data integrity through process monitoring and control
  • Collaborate with management and workforces across multiple locations
  • Communicate complex issues and solutions to executive management, production management, and subject matter experts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 4+ years of experience leading change in a manufacturing environment
  • 6+ years’ experience developing and implementing world-class supply chain business processes and practices
  • Demonstrated success leading adoption and improvement of ERP planning tools in a multi-site manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Oracle, IQMS, or KINAXIS preferred
  • Ability to travel 50%-75% to Viant sites in the U.S., Costa Rica, and Tijuana, Mexico
  • Advanced ERP skills
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Medical device experience preferred; aerospace, automotive, or food industry backgrounds accepted
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration preferred
  • APICS Certification preferred
  • Dual English and Spanish language ability preferred
